LS's tournament history is a mix of successes and near misses. Early appearances saw them finishing 7th at the Huya Tianming Cup 2018. More recently, they secured a 6th-place finish at the PCS Series 1 Asia, earning around $13,000. Other notable tournaments include the PUBG Champions League 2020 Summer and Fall seasons, as well as the PUBG China Masters 2019, where they didn't achieve a top placing. Their participation in these high-profile events underlines their commitment to the competitive PUBG scene and their ambition to be among the top teams in China.

Throughout its history, Luminous Stars has seen a rotating roster of players. The initial lineup consisted of Karlxigua, Ydd, Onion, and Pipi. A total of 17 players have represented LS, including notable names such as Monsters, Timon, WnnnNB, ADuo, Easy, 91Karl, Seventeen, longdd, Yc, and DAQ.
