Paris Saint Germain's famous footballer Neymar Junior appeared as the new ambassador for PUBG: Battlegrounds. The announcement came via Krafton on Twitter.
Neymar is no stranger to esports games and PUBG in particular. He has been playing the battle royale since its release in 2017. The PSG striker will stream his first game on the new map Deston on his channel on July 14 at 15:00 CEST. The Brazilian will be a part of Dream Squad, featuring streamers Alexandre "gAuLeS" Borba and Netenho, in addition to pro-player sparkiNgg.
Participating in PUBG is incredible. I am very proud to be part of this new project and I am looking forward to playing on the new map. I hope you all like it
Previously Neymar was cooperating with Fortnite, where he has a dedicated skin now. He is also known to play a lot of CS:GO, including show matches, and even celebrate his goals with gestures from the shooter.
