Today, Overwatch League Paris announced via twitter the acquisition of Kyle “KyKy” Souder. He will serve OWL Paris as the assistant coach, following stints on the Dallas Fuel and Houston Outlaws. KyKy’s time with the Fuel was highly criticized — largely because of roster decisions — but he brings a great wealth of experience to a fully Western team. His time on the Outlaws was far less scrutinized as the importance of his role was downplayed and he saw less time in the limelight.
Any European team staying in the US for #OWL2019 needs a liaison officer, even better when he is among the most experienced Overwatch coach there is.

KyKy has also done his part for North America, aiding in the USA’s strong Overwatch World Cup run in 2017. He is often credited for that USA team’s success, along with the players, commanding respect among North American peers. Overwatch League Paris will be KyKy’s third Overwatch League team and second assistant coach role.
Overwatch League Paris now has four coaches with the other three being: Julien “Daemon” Ducros, Felix “Féfé” Munch, and Joni “Seita” Paavola. daemoN fulfills Head Coach duties whileFéfé focuses on Player Development and Seita devises strategy.
