About Zaphyr
Zaphyr's professional journey began in November 2019 with Universidad Católica Esports (UC). His debut was at the Super Copa Flow 2019, a tournament with a $10,000 prize pool, alongside teammates Caos, Pan, Kartana, and Crus. While they didn't secure any prize money in that initial tournament or the subsequent Liga de Honor Entel 2020 Opening Season, these early experiences laid the foundation for his future success. These early experiences playing with UC provided valuable experience in high-pressure competitive scenarios.
Over his career, Zaphyr has represented five different teams in the Chilean League of Legends scene. His time with RBT has been particularly successful, contributing to both his prize earnings and his overall match count. Other teams he's played for include Santiago Wanderers eSports (SW), LDM Esports (LDM), and Movistar Optix (MOX), each contributing to his diverse experience and skill development across various team dynamics and playing styles.
Zaphyr has participated in around seven tournaments throughout his career, achieving one first-place and one third-place finish. His recent appearances include the Liga de Honor 2023 Opening, where RBT placed 5th, and several other Liga de Honor Entel tournaments, showing consistent participation in major Chilean LoL competitions. His results demonstrate his ability to compete at a high level and contribute meaningfully to his team's performance, even if top finishes haven't always been consistent.
