Support item changes coming to League of Legends patch 13.4

Riot Games started testing support item changes on the League of Legends PBE server. Spectral Sickle, Spellthief's Edge and other items were adjusted. Spideraxe revealed these changes on Twitter.

The developers plan to nerf utility support items and buff tank supports ones. Riot Games Tim "Truexy" explained that they do it to balance "the disparity on power between the two support branches".

Support item adjustments for patch 13.4

Spellthief's Edge

  • Charge timer increased from 10 seconds to 12
  • Spellthief's mana regen reduced from 50% to 25%
  • Frostfang mana regen reduced from 75% to 50%
  • Shard of True Ice mana regen reduced from 115% to 100% (these now match AD mana regen)

Spectral Sickle

  • Charge timer increased from 10 seconds to 12

Relic Shield

  • HP regen increased from 25% to 50%
  • Targon's Buckler HP regen increased from 50% to 75%
