Legendary T1 mid laner Lee "Faker" Sang-hyeok renewed his contract with the organization until the end of 2025. It means the 26-year-old superstar is planning to play for at least three more years, according to T1's statement on Twitter.
Recently, there were rumors of negotiations between Faker and Western organizations. He reportedly spoke to such LCS teams as Team Liquid and FlyQuest. Most of the community was skeptical about a potential move. He could've been exploring the market to get a better deal with T1.
It's hard to imagine Faker anywhere else but on T1's lineup, especially after he won another LCK split and almost grabbed his fourth World Championship this year. The fact that he turned down a multi-million deal from a Chinese club in the past also speaks for itself.
T1 didn't make any roster changes after the end of the season 2022, aside from changing substitute players. There were, however, shifts in the coaching department. Polt has officially left the organization, while Bae "Bengi" Seong-woong, who replaced him ahead of Worlds 2022, became the head coach. T1 also added two more coaches, Roach and Tom, to accompany the recently signed Sky.
