Fnatic, Royal Never Give Up, DRX, and Evil Geniuses have qualified for World Championship 2022 Group Stage. European and Korean teams finished the groups as leaders (4-1 and 5-0) and got automatic spots, while LPL and LCS contenders got it through playoffs.
EG destroyed MAD Lions in the deciding match, beating them 3:0. They ended up in the group with DWG KIA, G2, and JD Gaming. RNG beat DFM with a score of 3:1. The Chinese will now meet against CTBC Flying Oyster, Gen.G, and 100 Thieves.
Worlds 2022 is being held in the USA with a Play-In stage running in Mexico from September 29 to November 5. The grand final will take place in Los Angeles, California. 24 participants will split the $2,225,000 prize pool and a share of in-game sales.
