Team Liquid captian Aydin "iNSaNiA" Sarkohi got sick at PGL Wallachia S5 and was replaced by Matthew "Ari" Walker. The organizers allowed an emergency substitute on the final day of the playoffs on June 29. This was revealed by team coach William "BlitZ" Lee on X.
iNSaNiA has been sick for the last four days and has barely been able to play. Today his condition worsened, and PGL has graciously allowed us to use a stand-in Ari. Thanks fans for cheer and send Aydin support bless all
According to BetBoom Team manager Luka "Lukawa" Nasuashvili, iNSaNiA was hospitalized. There are no additional details about his condition.
Despite the captain's sickness, Team Liquid was able to run through the playoffs before the winners' final, where they lost to Gaimin Gladiators. As of writing, the team is playing against BetBoom in the lower final. The first map has yet to be finished.
