Pure explains his break at DreamLeague S26: "I was having such a great time that I felt no desire to play Dota"

BetBoom Team carry Ivan "Pure" Moskalenko shed some light on his absence at DreamLeague Season 26. He explained that he was taking a break from the intense tournament schedule. Pure spoke about his vacation in the latest team vlog on YouTube.

After a series of not very successful tournament results, I asked the guys to take a break. And so it happened. They played at Dreamleague with Kiritych and took second place. Respect to the guys. I watched their games all the time, spent time in Moscow as I liked, took a break from Dota. This year, we had too many tournaments in a row, they knocked me off track a bit, but we came back. <...>

To be honest, I would like to rest a little more. At some point, I was having such a great time that I felt no desire to play Dota. But then I started missing LANs. I was on vacation for quite a long time. I want to play Dota, show the hero pool I had played, and what shape I'm in.

The carry plans to come back and try to win both TI14 and EWC 2025. Pure believes this will require some discipline and hard work.

I become more serious, if you can say that, because we'll soon have our grand tournaments, TI and Riyadh Masters. I want to be more disciplined. I want to try and win those events, do everything possible for the victory.
