Xtreme Gaming stomped Yakult's Brothers in the regional qualifier for The International 2025 in China. The grand final game finished 3:0 in favor of Wang "Ame" Chunyu and his teammates. They earned the only regional spot.
The team only lost a single game across the whole qualifier. On their way to the finish line, Xtreme beat Vici Gaming, Azure Ray, and YB in the winners' bracket.
Ame has made it to the sixth TI in his career. The legendary carry has never missed the main Dota 2 event since 2017, except for one year when he took a break. The only other Chinese team at The International 2025 is All Gamers Global (ex-Team Tidebound). They will attend via a direct invite.
The International 2025 will start in early September. Earlier, Aurora Gaming and Heroic earned their spots at the event from EEU and SA. The next participant will be determined in North America between BSJ & Friends, Shopify Rebellion, and Wildcard.
