OG founder Johan "N0tail" Sundstein spoke about their Dota 2 coach Maurice "KheZu" Gutmann. He was positively surprised by his work, because he only knew him as a caster before that. In the recent video on the team's YouTube, the support put KheZu above Sebastian "Ceb" Debs in terms of emotional intelligence.
I think KheZu was the most surprising out of all, because we didn't really work much with him in the past. We cast and talked with him, but haven't seen this side of him, where he's trying to step up and be a driving force, a leader, a coach. To me, he's very smart. He's emotionally very intelligent, more than Ceb, in my opinion. I believe this is KheZu's main role: To help the team understand themselves, and for him also to understand everything better, because I don't think that you fully understand this until you've won it all.
KheZu's last team was Quincy Crew. He also coached them at The International 2021, and they finished 9th-12th. He has been working as an analyst and a caster after going inactive in 2022. OG picked him as a trial coach at the end of 2024.
OG spent the beginning of the season with a temporary lineup with Ceb, 23savage, and xNova as stand-ins. The organization is in the process of building a new team. They are trying out a roster with Kidaro, Stormstormer, daze, and 423. They also signed a second-team OG.LATAM with K1 and DarkMago.
