Dota 2 analyst Ben "Noxville" Steenhuisen has discovered a unique record, which belongs to Yeik "MidOne" Nai Zheng. He was the only player in history since TI5 who scored a nine-player multikill or quintuple Rampage.
Was looking at some Ultrakill/Rampage data for Zeneca and came across this: The only 9-multikill (i.e. 5x rampage) since TI5 (when this stat was tracked).
The unusual achievement was set in the Team SMG vs Execration match at BTS Pro Series Season 7 in August 2021. MidOne playing as Phantom Lancer got nine frags in a row in a short time. That happened after his team pushed the opponents into the fountain, and the game was practically over. He finished the match with a KDA of 25/0/5.
Even quadruple Rampage is quite a rare phenomenon. It was only scored six times professional scene. Noxville didn't specify who exactly made them.
MidOne returned to SEA in April 2021, after playing in Secret and OG. Team SMG had many star names, like Mushi and iceiceice, but never managed to become a powerful team even in their home region. The midlaner's return to Secret didn't bring his success as well. MidOne is currently inactive, his last event was PGL Wallachia S2, when he stood in for Tundra.
