Dota 2 star player Artour "Arteezy" Babaev shared his opinion about Morphling. According to him, this is a very boring hero that doesn't take a lot of skill from a player. On stream, he compared him to Sniper.
Morphling is a boring hero, objectively speaking. I am on my level 28, almost level 30 on Morphling, but the hero is just so boring. It's a low-skill character. Sniper is a higher skill than Morphling. How can you argue the other way? Sniper is one of the hardest heroes in the game. Do you know why? Because you literally have a sign above your head the whole game. Every hero in this game is out to get you. Your allies f**king hate you and your enemies want to kill you. That's why it's hard. On Morphling, you can play your own game. You're literally the main character.
Arteezy previously had a similar take about another complex hero, Invoker. The carry thinks that his abilities are easy to execute and are targeted "on the floor."
On March 27, Dota 2 developers released patch 7.38c. They readjusted around 50 heroes, including Abaddon, Batrider, Templar Assassin, and Ancient Apparition. They also rebalanced a few items, changed the map and most of the neutral items, including their enchantments. Nightfall named the best carry heroes of this update, which you can find below.
