Dyrachyo on post-Gladiators period: "I had options where to go, but I can't say there were a lot of offers"

Tundra Esports player Anton "dyrachyo" Shkredov spoke about his time during the inactivity in Gaimin Gladiators. The carry didn't receive many offers and wanted to build a new team with Danil "gpk~" Skutin. Dyrachyo shared his thoughts in an interview with Cybersport.ru.

I learned about being kicked after TI13 grand final. There was not much time. I had options where to go, but I can't say there were a lot of offers. At least on tier 1. And I was barely invited to tier-2 teams. Maybe they don't need me anymore or they didn't want me.

I had some invites but because there was so little time, after a few days of consideration, I realized that I didn't want to hurry, I didn't want to make hasty conclusions. I decided that if they'd call me after the break, it would be great, if not, I had plenty of things to do. I don't really care about this too much. I can stop playing and still be great.

Dyrachyo also revealed that he wanted to build his own team. When Tundra contacted him, he initially asked them to wait. But since the plan didn't work, he chose them.

I think it would be exciting. This is a new experience. I think it would be so fun. Maybe not, but I rated that option higher than the others. But I don't regret anything, so it was destined to be that way.

[Why it didn't work out?] Because other people got offers. Some perform better at their events, why would they change anything if things are going well with their team? There were plenty of different factors. Initially, I wanted to build a roster with gpk~, no matter who'd join us. But I understood that people may be disappointed with kiyotaka as he sometimes throws games. If people have an offer for gpk~... I told him right from the start, "Danya, if you get invited, say so right away." He was the key link I wanted to play with.

There were rumors about a lineup with dyrachyo and gpk~. The midlaner eventually returned to BetBoom Team on the back of a successful event as a stand-in. Dyrachyo joined Tundra Esports at the end of December 2024. In the same interview, he also guessed why he was kicked from GG. You can read the details below.
