Canadian Dota 2 player Artour "Arteezy" Babaev returned to Dota 2 matchmaking after a two-month break. He finished eight pub games without winning a single one. The star carry posted those results on X, ironizing that "he's back."
Arteezy experimented with heroes and played every position except the midlane. He picked Dragon Knight twice and tried his chances with Magnus, Shadow Demon, Bat Rider and Alchemist.
Arteezy has not played professionally since June 2024 and hasn't launched matchmaking since November. He went inactive after failing to qualify for The International 2024. His last team was Shopify Rebellion. During the roster shuffle, he confirmed that he would take a break. Hopefully, these pubs are a sign of the future player's comeback. So far he didn't show any signs of a possible return to pro stage.
At the end of 2024, Babayev proposed to his girlfriend Zhang "Dove" Tiange after dating her for seven years. She accepted the player's offer. You can find out more in the news below.
