Larl: "Satanic and Yatoro have a similar gameplay, so he doesn't need to change anything"

Team Spirit midlaner Denis "Larl" Sigitov revealed that he was not surprised by the departure of Illya "Yatoro" Mulyarchuk and Myroslav "Mira" Kolpakov from their active Dota 2 roster. He shared this in an interview with Igromania.ru.

It was not a surprise. The guys have been playing together for a long time. I felt they were tired during the season. Sometimes, there was a tough atmosphere in the team. Not everyone can constantly play at a high level, sometimes you need to take a break from Dota. So, no, this decision was not surprising to me. I felt that was supposed to happen.

The midlaner also compared his role with the one he had in previous roster, BetBoom Team. He had to sacrifice a lot when he joined Team Spirit to let others shine.

My role in the previous team was different. I could farm more, there were more creeps on the map, and I was more of an AFK-midlaner. Spirit's players are more greedy, they take more farm. So, I have been learning to sacrifice some things and create more moments.

But Satanic and Yatoro have similar gameplay. I mean, he doesn't need to change anything, it's enough to perform well. Rue and Mira are in the same position as well. Rue even communicates as much as Mira. So it turns out the players got on a new team, but it's much easier for them to adapt.

Yatoro and Mira suspended their careers after The International 2024 and moved to the bench. It is unknown when they will return to the professional stage. Team Spirit remained strong despite missing most of the roster. They finished 3rd and 4th at their last tournaments.
