The International 2024 group stage has concluded. Team Spirit ended up being the only team with the clean record, winning all 3 bo2.
Other teams taking top spots in their groups were Xtreme Gaming, Cloud9, and Team Falcons. The latter had to win a best-of-3 tiebreaker against Team Zero, defeating the Chinese team 2-0.
Group stage was held on September 4-5. Teams were seeded in four groups, where they played three best-of-2 matches. No squads left the event after this stage, but best teams in each group were able to choose their opponents for the next stage. All squads will play a seeding best-of-3, determining if they start playoffs in the upper or lower bracket.
The International 2024 is held in Copenhagen, Denmark. 16 teams are fighting for the title of the best squad of the year in Dota 2 and a prize pool of at least $2.4 mln.
