Collapse: "Team Liquid just rolled over us way too fast. I don't even remember anything"

Team Spirit Dota 2 offlaner Magomed "Collapse" Khalilov summed up the results of their clash with Team Liquid in the Riyadh Masters 2024 playoff. He believed the opponents played a level above them while their team was still in search of proper gameplay. Collapse explained this for Spirit's Telegram channel.

We lost to Team Liquid. I think it's natural. The opponent was simply better and faster than us. We realize we have been doing things slow, playing too greedy lately. In short, we are changing our approach. We are trying to find proper drafts for this, but so far, as you can see, it's not working out very well. But I think every defeat gives experience. We will draw conclusions out of this match in terms of our picks and play.

If you take a brief look at the games, the opponents simply had a better draft. They played faster. I don't even remember anything. They just rolled over us way too fast.

Team Spirit lost to Team Liquid with a score of 0:2. They dropped to the lower bracket of the tournament, to face LGD Gaming. The match is scheduled for 18:00 CEST on July 17.

Earlier, captain Miposhka shared the same sentiment about Team Spirit's current state. He revealed they changed the structure to adapt to the new meta. He is now assisting coach Silent in drafts to see what they can do about their issues.
