"There's no place on that plate [Aegis] for us." Team Spirit winning interview at TI12

Team Spirit Dota 2 players Denis "Larl" Sigitov, Yaroslav "Miposhka" Naydenov, and Miroslav "Mira" Kolpakov shared their emotions with the Russian broadcast after raising the trophy at The International 2023. Larl, who won his first Aegis, said he felt relief and pointed out the opponents' mistake.

I feel relief after so many years of hard work, so many failures. I got on the team, and we were able to play well. This is nice. <...> We are about a month in Seattle, and every day here is like Groundhog Day: We play scrims, eat, go back to our rooms, play scrims. Every day. We didn't even go anywhere.

On the first two maps, I didn't understand why Gladiators showed their mid that early. It seemed Quinn had a big pool of heroes, so we expected them to pick a mid hero later. I knew every matchup, and it was easy to pick a counter. We had better drafts, that's all.

Miposhka

There's no place on that plate [Aegis] for us. I don't know what they'll do. [Interviewer: You are already there, only Denis needs a place] We'll find a place for Larl.

Team Spirit defeated Gaimin Gladiators with a 3:0 score. This is the third grand final in history with such a score. The Eastern European squad earned over $1.4 mln.
