Ame comes out from inactivity to play with Somnus` M at Asian Games 2022


China has decided on the Dota 2 national roster for the Asian Games 2022. Wang "Ame" Chunyu will come back to the professional scene for at least this event, as he is listed on the team together with Lu "Somnus` M" Yao, coached by Zhang "LaNm" Zhicheng from Azure Ray. The news was reported by CN Dota In A Nutshell on Twitter.

Zhao "XinQ" Zixing is another big name coming out from a break to compete. The Chinese lineup looks like a dream team, also having Chalice (AR), Pyw (iG), and Siamese.C (Aster). LaNm will be assisted by Mad (Aster) and Super (iG).

For Ame, the tournament will be the first on the pro scene in almost a year. The carry went inactive after The International 2022.

Asian Games 2022 (hosted in 2023) will be held from September 23 to October 8 in Hangzhou, China. TI12 will kick off just two days after its conclusion. League of Legends, PUBG Mobile, Hearthstone, FIFA 23 and Street Fighter 5 tournaments will also be featured at the event. A total of 45 countries will take part in the competition.
