Xtreme Gaming officially added Zhang "LaNm" Zhicheng as the new team coach and Hu "Kaka" Liangzhi. The former replaced Xiong "Pyw" Jiahan, who left the lineup a few days earlier.
Both LaNm and Kaka have been teamless since the end of 2022. The coach didn't join any team after leading Aster for more than two years. Kaka returned from a planned break. Last year, he also took a pause for about the same period.
Kaka's last team was RNG, where he played alongside current Xtreme's carry Ghost. The team had a strong start at The International 2022, only to crumble due to COVID-19 affecting almost everyone on the team. At some point, Somnus` M was thinking about building something with Kaka, but it never happened.
Xtreme will participate in the Upper Division of DPC CN 2023 Tour 2 since they finished 5th last DPC Tour.
