Virtus.pro carry Roman "RAMZES666" Kushnarev answered analyst questions on the amateur tournament KFC Games 2022 in Moscow. He talked about his reaction to losing invite to The International 2022, VP's opponents in Last Chance qualifier, and other things.
[What was your reaction to losing the invite?] Oh, I just cried for the whole day! <...> Dude, there was no tilt. Out team is different. <...> Who knew that it will turn out this way. It was our own fault. We needed to beat beastcoast on the Major and Daxak in qualifier.
We played our game vs beastcoast with too much chill. In some moments we lost the draft, because our coach didn't get to the tournament. We had issues with draft and deciding who plays which hero because Fng wasn't with us. We were very strong on that patch, but because of Artyom we got into trouble.
We are bound to have Chinese TI at some point. This tournament didn't have a winner from China in a long time. Regional teams played in four finals in a row and lost [China participated in 3 finals since Wings win, and it wasn't in a row]. One day the trophy must return to China.
Virtus.pro's Dota 2 roster recently got its name back. The change back from Outsiders happened after the club got a new CEO and investor Aram Karamanukyan. According to ESforce Holding's list of assets on their site, VP isn't one of them anymore.
