Eastern European organization Virtus.pro commented on the comeback of the org name in Dota 2 team system. In a statement for Escorenews, VP confirmed that the change is intentional and wasn't a technical error, saying that its squads will "compete exclusively under the Virtus.pro tag".
Our new investor owns the Virtus.pro trademark only. Accordingly, our squads in all esports can and will compete exclusively under the Virtus.pro tag.
According to the information shared by the org, CS:GO roster could also get his name back soon. The closest big tournament for VP is ESL Pro League S16 playoffs, scheduled to begin on September 27. Dota 2 roster will compete in TI11 Last Chance qualifier starting on October 8.
The team recently got a new investor and a CEO, relatively unknown Armenian Aram Karamanukyan. The org might relocate now, similar to what Team Spirit did with moving to Serbia. According to ESforce Holding's list of assets on their site, VP isn't one of them anymore.
