Valve opened up a Major and Regional Leagues application process for Dota Pro Circuit 2022/2023. The company revealed a full schedule for the next competitive year. This information appeared on Dota 2 official website.
The key changes are separation between divisions in regional leagues and shortened leagues. If previously a tour would last for about 1.5 months, now it takes approximately 20 days.
The two divisions will play on separate dates, with div 2 running after the first one. DPC league winter Tour will no longer be split in half on holidays. Major dates also shifted, compared to DPC 2021/2022.
The tournament operators should provide Valve with all the information until August 24, 2022. After the following negotiations, they will sign contracts with TOs on September 30. The requirements include COVID protocols and safety measures and visa management.
