Ukrainian offlaner Roman "Resolut1on" Fominok will stand in for Team Secret at Riyadh Masters 2022. He will replace Daryl "iceiceice" Koh Pey Xiang. The change was revealed on the tournament operator's official spreadsheet.
Resolut1on will reunite with his former teammate Bakyt "Zayac" Emilzhanov. They played in Virtus.pro for half a year in 2020. In May 2022, the duo was looking for a team. Later, Zayac joined Team Secret as a stand-in for YapzOr, and then as a full-time player.
Resolut1on has no official match record for almost a year, since September 2021. His last team was HellRaisers.
Riyadh Masters 2022 will take place on LAN in Saudi Arabia on July 20-24. Ten teams will compete for a $4 million prize pool, and the champion will earn $1.5 million. Several lineups bring stand-ins for the tournament, including the surprising reappearance of ana.
