Valve starts Fantasy league for the first season of DPC 2021/2022

Valve Corporation added the Fantasy league for the upcoming DPC Season 1 of 2021/2022. The next Battle Pass will be released in the coming weeks.

This time Fantasy league will run for the whole DPC season instead of just The International or Majors, and it doesn't require buying the Battle Pass. New Fantasy works the same way, but players in the Upper Division will earn points over the week of league play instead of scoring for the play day.

Lineups consist of two core players (carry and offlane), one mid, and two supports. They will earn points for certain in-game actions. All Dota 2 players get ten free packs and can get more packs daily by winning a Dota game.

Participants can choose the region they want to play Fantasy in and can compete in multiple regions. But the rewards will be based on the highest placement. Players in the top 50, 25, and 10 percent will get 1, 2, or 3 Fantasy levels accordingly. Every three levels they will be given a DPC Winter 2022 Tour treasure reward, which will be released later.
