EVOS Esports – Ready to Play at ESL One Hamburg 2018

A little while ago we learned that TNC Predator would be pulling out of ESL One Hamburg 2018 to focus their efforts on WESG instead. With ESL One coming up in just a week’s time, the replacement team from the Southeast Asia region has been decided and it is EVOS Esports.

EVOS came into the qualifier for ESL One Hamburg through Open Qualifications alongside Tigers and right from the start they looked promising, winning their first series 2-0. In the next round though, they would meet TNC Predator who breezed passed them and while EVOS made it to the grand finals, they were easily eliminated 3-0 and TNC would claim the single SEA spot at ESL One Hamburg 2018. Then just a week ago, TNC announced that they would be withdrawing themselves from the prestigious event to focus on WESG instead, where they were the original victors. With that, the hunt began for the new SEA Champion for Hamburg and who better than the 2nd place finishing team, EVOS Esports.
