While the event is not a part of the upcoming new season of the Dota 2 Pro Circuit, many of the teams taking part will also be using this as a stepping stone for Majors and Minors which will follow shortly. The list of teams heading to ESL One Hamburg 2018 is:

  • Virtus.pro (Direct Invite)
  • Evil Geniuses (Direct Invite)
  • Team Secret (Direct Invite)
  • Mineski (Direct Invite)
  • Ninjas in Pyjamas (Direct Invite)
  • Forward Gaming (Direct Invite)
  • paiN Gaming (Direct Invite)
  • Vici Gaming (Direct Invite)
  • Alliance (Europe Qualifier)
  • compLexity Gaming (North America Qualifier)
  • Team Aster (China Qualifier)

The Southeast Asia Qualifier team was originally TNC Predator but the SEA giants have decided to focus their efforts on WESG and thus withdrew from the event just yesterday. A replacement for them has not yet been announced but we will keep you up to date on that news when it is made available.
