M0NESY on facing Falcons at PGL Bucharest: "Scripted final"

G2 Esports sniper Ilya "m0NESY" Osipov commented on the irony of the grand final matchup of PGL Bucharest 2025. After defeating Complexity in the semis, the AWPer posted "Scripted final😉" on Telegram. G2 will face Falcons, the team he's rumored to join before BLAST Austin Major.

Abdul "degster" Gasanov is the player m0NESY will reportedly replace on Falcons. The Russian AWPer has a lot to prove, since he has been showing an average performance during his time on the new team.

Falcons have beaten FaZe Clan in their semifinal match. G2 Esports had an easy time against Complexity, defeating them 2:0. M0NESY was in peak shape and finished with a 43-21 KD difference.

The rumor about m0NESY's departure was first posted by neL and corroborated several times by other insiders. G2 reportedly started looking for a new AWPer. His transition will likely happen shortly after the conclusion of the Romanian LAN.

PGL Bucharest 2025 runs from April 6 to 13. The prize pool is $625k. The event features a third-place match, which affects VRS standings. FaZe Clan will face Complexity at 14:00 CET. They already played against each other at this event.
