Falcons defeated GamerLegion in the playoffs of PGL Bucharest 2025. The team closed the series 2:1 after losing the first map of Train. They took revenge for the stomp they suffered from this team during the group stage.
At the beginning, it looked like history was about to repeat itself. GamerLegion had a 9:3 lead on the first map, and then comfortably closed the game 13:7. However, the remaining games went the Falcons' way, mirroring the same score.
In the group stage, Falcons managed to win only 3 rounds on two maps against GamerLegion and found themselves on the brink of elimination. Then they beat the remaining opponents, including the Mongolz, and advanced to the playoffs. In the semis, they'll face the winner of 3DMAX vs FaZe match.
PGL Bucharest 2025 runs from April 6 to 13 in a studio in Romania. The 16 participants fight for a share of the $626k prize pool. Right before the event, neL released a report about m0NESY's transfer to the Falcons. According to HLTV, G2 Esports is already looking for a replacement.
