Team Spirit players shared their opinions on breaks in professional CS2. The joking discussion of their dislike of rest and days without practice was captured on camera for the team's final vlog from IEM Katowice 2025.
I would enjoy going to the beach right now, like I'm in an anime. In fact, [media day] is a counter-productive waste of time. You could've improved yourself instead of that. [How exactly?] Let's say, by playing CS2.
Rest is an integral part... There is nothing wrong with missing three hours at the PC when you spend 15 there. I hate vacations because you do nothing for a week. But a day of flights or a break like this, it's a fine chill day. [Magixx: I hate real life, I want to play PC games]. Me too. I love my imaginary life.
Guys, I want to tell you that rest was invented by successful people, so that those who are trying to catch up would fail. Rest is always harmful.
Spirit is currently having a break after IEM Katowice 2025, which took place on LAN in Poland from January 29 to February 9. The team finished second, stomped in the grand final by Team Vitality with a score of 0:3. The team's next event will be ESL Pro League Season 21, which starts on March 1.
