Donk: "Anubis is super unskilled and random. You can play against five ScreaMs and still win"

Team Spirit player Danil "donk" Kryshkovets shared his opinion about CS2 map Anubis. He criticized its restrained CT side and wished it wouldn't exist in competitive rotation. The rifler voiced his take in Spirit's latest vlog from IEM Katowice 2025.

Anubis is a dogshit of a map. I hope it will be removed from the map pool. It is the most unskilled map because there is that little space to work with as CT.

You can just throw two smokes and... You can play against five ScreaMs and still win. No team dominates on Anubis. That's why the map is super random and unskilled. Vertigo was much f**king better.

Anubis is one of donk's worst LAN maps. Throughout his career, he averaged "only" 1.30 HLTV rating on it. However, Vertigo is slightly worse with a 1.29 rating. The prodigy shines the most on Dust 2. After 27 matches played on this map, he amassed a mind-boggling 1.52 rating. Some fans are curious how the phenom player will perform on another classic, Inferno, which remains the team's permaban.

In 2025, Spirit had no luck with Anubis. They lost to Eternal Fire with a score of 14:16 in the grand final of the BLAST Bounty Spring. At IEM Katowice 2025, the team was defeated by GamerLegion on this map (11:13) but won the bo3 series to reach the playoffs.
