Jimpphat explained why MOUZ replaced siuhy

MOUZ CS2 player Jimi "Jimpphat" Salo commented on the removal of their former IGL Kamil "siuhy" Skaradek. The Finn said the members wanted to see a different style of calling. He struggled to elaborate on this but claimed the change was best for both sides. Jimi discussed the topic in the IEM Katowice 2025 podcast with jL and flameZ.

With siuhy, people speculated we had some really big problems, but it wasn't the case. The best way to say it was best for both sides. His calling wasn't something we wanted in MOUZ as a team. We were looking to play a little bit different.

As the media showed, it's a lot of feedback for us right now. But we wanted that and we thought it would be best for the team. [FlameZ: And siuhy as well?] Yeah, of course. He maybe didn't expect it and wouldn't [prefer it]. But I think he will understand. Of course, we could've done it during the player break. I think BLAST Bounty was the last chance to make it before the biggest events.

Jimpphat believes Ludvig "Brollan" Brolin will work as new IGL. He didn't explain what made them think that way but said that the team puts full trust in the Swede's ability.

We're just looking for something fresh now. Brollan as an IGL is something new, something people might [doubt] a little bit, but I think after some time, he will prove that it will turn out good because we fully believe in him. I think Spinx, he's your friend, you know him very well, he fits the team. We didn't play with him much so far, only one week in practice. [FlameZ: Did you bootcamp?] No, no bootcamp, we didn't have time for that. Once we actually get to grind as a team and once we get to play tournaments, I have really high hopes.

MOUZ's announcement of the IGL change was unexpected as they did that right after the big roster shuffle. The following speculations and a clip taken out of context made people believe there was an inner conflict in the team. Siuhy and other members later denied the rumors. New MOUZ's debut in Katowice didn't work well. They were beaten by GamerLegion and Liquid and left the event early.
