Donk on beating Astralis: "In the game, we didn't feel that it would be easy. Overall, it wasn't"

Team Spirit rifler Danil "donk" Kryshkovets commented on the victory over Astralis in the group stage of IEM Katowice 2025. The Russian player was pleased with the result and noted that the game didn't feel as easy as the final score suggested. He shared his thoughts on Telegram.

We played quite confidently. Judging by the score, you could say that it was an easy match. But in the game, we didn't feel that it would be easy. Overall, it wasn't. We won a lot of clutches, and we constantly had an advantage during trading. Overall, we performed well and confidently, we are picking up the pace. Cheer for Team Spirit!

Team Spirit crushed Astralis with a score of 2:0. The team let the Danes win only nine rounds over two maps. Donk was the best player of the match. He finished the series with 36 kills and 24 deaths, averaging a 1.66 HLTV rating and 104 ADR.

IEM Katowice 2025 is running from January 29 to February 9 in Poland. Participants are playing for a million dollars. Team Spirit are the defending champion of Katowice, thanks to the last year's memorable run. Next, donk and his teammates will face NAVI. The match is scheduled to start at 16:00 CET on February 3.
