Electronic plays his first match for Virtus.pro, loses to Fnatic

Virtus.pro debuted with their new lineup at ESL Pro League Season 19. The CS2 team didn't win the first match, but at least Denis "electronic" Sharipov performed relatively well.

Virtus.pro lost to Fnatic in a full bo3 with a close round score on every map — Overpass (13:11), Vertigo (9:13), and Ancient (11:13). Electronic finished with 52-49 KD difference and 86 ADR. Interestingly enough, their opponents looked statistically worse even though they won the match.

For a new lineup with minimum practice, this should be a decent result. But, of course, this isn't enough for an organization that demonstrated its desire to be on the very top with the expensive transfer. They can afford one more mistake before the elimination from the event. In the next match, the team will face SAW.

ESL Pro League S19 is held in Malta from April 23 to May 12. It features 32 teams fighting for a $1 mln of prize money. Cloud9 withdrew from the event after electronic departed to VP.
