9Pandas to miss Copenhagen Major, GamerLegion will replace them

Copenhagen Major 2024 organizer PGL announced that 9Pandas will be unable to participate in the event. The team will be replaced by GamerLegion, who lost the final match of EU RMR Decider to 9Pandas.

9Pandas withdrew from the event because of the visa issues. Denis "seized" Kostin revealed that they got their visas, but couldn't get their passports back in time. Since their first match was planned on March 17, they were unable to get to the event in time. This would be the first Major for seized since 2018.

First Major in Counter-Strike 2 history will take place in Copenhagen on March 17-31, with the final matches played in Royal Arena. 24 teams will be fighting for a prize pool of $1.25 mln.
