The legendary Polish Duo of Wiktor "TaZ" Wojtas and Filip "NEO" Kubski are closing their organization HONORIS. The official statement came out on Twitter, revealing that the organization was hard to maintain financially.
For three years, we've been holding it together financially. In HONORIS, no coconuts were earned, but the players and associates always received their salaries on time and could count on the organization's support. <...> Facing the lack of sufficient financial resources for the coming years, together, we decided to end HONORIS' activities in the current formula.
TaZ also posted his message on social media, thanking everyone involved in the project and their fans for their support.
We're closing HONORIS organization. It ends a certain stage of my life, but there will be time for a summary. <...>
Finally, thank you, Filip. This time, the goal wasn't achieved, but I appreciate that we gave this chance to us and the young generation of players first and foremost. We tried to get this project on our terms, and I think we have something to be proud of.
After three years of operating, HONORIS had an influx in results in late 2022-2023. The team was a stable top 60 and recently made it to the top 40. Despite good placements in recent qualifiers, the Poles didn't make it to the upcoming important events, including BLAST Paris Major 2023.
TaZ didn't reveal what will happen to the lineup where he is playing as the IGL. They are currently taking part in IEM Dallas 2023 Open Qualifiers.
