Vitality might've returned to practicing with Peter "dupreeh" Rasmussen after the conclusion of the ESL Pro League S17 Group Stage, which they played with Audric "JaCkz" Jug. This information was revealed by a Russian-speaking insider Harumi on his Telegram.
This change might mean that Vitality will finish the event with dupreeh. The Dane previously mentioned such a possibility himself after his baby's birth at the end of February. Before that, he took a month-long break from competitions. The child's birth was earlier than expected, as they previously said it would happen in March.
Despite playing with a stand-in, Vitality finished their group as the leader, earning the quarterfinal spot. The team also managed to beat FaZe Clan 2:0 after an incredible comeback from a 1:14 score on one of the maps. The playoff quarters are scheduled for March 23.
