FaZe Clan's CS:GO player Robin "ropz" Kool revealed he got an eye infection the day before their deciding match against Vitality in the ESL Pro League S17. He posted a photo with a swollen eye on social media.
So far, FaZe has been doing great, cruising through the group stage. Rooster and NiP, on average, barely scrambled half the rounds against ropz's team on every map. The current triple-elimination format gives them plenty of chances to reach playoffs, and then Robin will have plenty of time to recover.
ESL Pro Leagues Season 17 takes place from February 22 to March 26. The groups' upper bracket winners will get to the quarters, the mid-bracket triumphant advance to the round of 12, and the loser's bracket best go to the round of 16. The prize pool of the competition is $850k. FaZe can win Grand Slam S4 at this event.
