Boombl4: "I realized that after an eight-month break, it would be very difficult to return to the IGL role"

1WIN's Kirill "Boombl4" Mikhailov spoke about adaptation in the new team and the reasons for the role change. In an interview with FISSURE, he said that he is able to train more and get in shape faster, thanks to abandoning the main caller role.

I worked a lot at the bootcamp and trained individually because of the new role. Here, I am more like a second caller, and I have a lot of freedom and space. I can practice more, do some other things individually in my positions. I fit in well, we need to continue, as now there will be a lot of officials. <...> We must play well before the Major qualifiers.

According to Boombl4, captainship takes too much time. He wants to first fully get in shape after the long break and then return to a calling role.

I realized that after an eight-month break, it would be very difficult to return to the captain position in terms of personal skill because you need to work as an IGL. That is why it will be easier for me to return first as a player and then as the second caller to help build our game or call at important moments sometimes.
