HLTV best players of 2022 awards: s1mple gets two trophies, karrigan named as best IGL, and other winners

The very first HLTV Award live show has concluded. It was staged in Stockholm featuring many current and former professional players as guests and nominees. Some of them, like karrigan or s1mple, won awards and spoke on stage.

The show had two parts. The first one introduced the new awards to commemorate best players by roles in an attempt to make the "all-star team of the year". They were chosen by the panel consisting of professional players and experts.

The second part was the reveal of the best 3 players from the HLTV Top 20 players of 2022. The previous positions were disclosed in early January on the website.
