Dev1ce still appeared on the list as 3rd despite almost a full year of inactivity. Tarik's success might look weird, considering he mostly streams Valorant these days, and was very popular at it in 2022. But most likely, the reason "Content King" is so high in CS:GO top is simple: he just doesn't have the page in Valorant wiki yet.
Stewie2K's scandalous departure from CS:GO brought a lot of attention to him and helped him to reach the top 5. Every FaZe Clan player got on the list, but karrigan, often credited for their achievements as the IGL, appeared above everyone.
In line with the best players list, NAVI and G2 Esports won the popularity contest as the best teams on Liquipedia. FaZe Clan followed right behind them. Virtus.pro appeared on the list twice. It's because the players participated in most of this season and won the IEM Rio Major 2022 as Outsiders due to the sanctions on the organization.
