BLAST Paris Major 2023

  • Champions Stage: 18-21 May

I want to give you news that France will host two exceptional esports events in 2023 and 2024. In May 2023, the BLAST Major for CS:GO will take place in Paris. The first ever CS:GO Major to take place in France will be held in the Accor Arena.

In addition In 2024, we will host the first-ever Trackmania Games. We will be mobilizing everyone so that around the Olympics Games, esports will play an integral part. For the Trackmania Games we will also have champions coming from across the world to compete in Paris.

This will be the first-ever Major for BLAST. The company entered the event production in 2017, and made more than 30 events since then, with total prize pool exceeding 11 mln dollars. While most of its tournaments were based in Copenhagen, the studio held events over the world, from United States to Russia.

Back in April, Macron voiced the idea of hosting TI, CS:GO Major, and Worlds in 2024 in France. He later doubled down on his promise, meeting with local esports personalities, including two-times TI champion Sebastien "Ceb" Debs. There are doubts that the LoL's main event can take place in France since it was hosting Worlds 2019.
