Finnish insider nuoriiikka claims that Aleksi "Aleksib" Virolainen got offers from Evil Geniuses, Fnatic, and other organizations. But, according to him, nothing is decided yet.
The current Evil Geniuses IGL is Jacky "Stewie2K" Yip. Fnatic is led by William "mezii" Merriman.
On July 16 Aleksib announced that he was allowed by G2 Esports to look for other options after a string of disappointing tournament finishes. Among the possible replacements for him are Alex "ALEX" Mcmeekin, as reported by OverDrive, and, according to lmbt, Johannes "tabseN" Wodarz.
It's likely that this won't be the only change in the team, as multiple people reported on Rémy "XTQZZZ" Quoniam leaving the team, and some even suggested that Audric "JACKZ" Jug will be replaced. Team CEO Carlos "ocelote" Rodriguez denied the claims.
